The Small Business Chamber holds its quarterly workshop today from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Memphis Marriott, 2625 Thousands Oaks Blvd. The workshop is titled "Contagious Networking" and is open to the public. The Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South hosts "Talk Shoppe" Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the BBB offices, 3693 Tyndale Drive. The topic is "What Kind of Mortgage Would Fit You Best?" The Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) holds a luncheon Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. The president of business operations for the Memphis Grizzlies, Andy Dolich, will discuss "What the Grizzlies Mean to Memphis." The luncheon is free for PRSA members, $25 for non-members and $15 for students.

Indie Memphis presents Micro Cinema Club No. 27 Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Power House, 45 G.E. Patterson Ave., between Main and Front streets. The event is "The Best of Ottawa International Animation Festival 2006." Admission is free, but donations are recommended. Call 494-6543 for more information.

Chez Philippe hosts "Taste of Ireland" as part of its monthly series of world dinners Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 149 Union Ave. For one night each month, the restaurant's chef de cuisine Reinaldo Alfonso is showcasing the cuisine from an array of countries. Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects hosts an exhibition for artists Elizabeth Garat, Christine A. Ritchie and Deborah Whitt beginning Friday with an opening reception from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The exhibit will be on display until April 12 at the offices of Askew Nixon, 1500 Union Ave. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross is celebrating Red Cross Month. As an incentive for Mid-Southerners to get involved in training, any CPR or first aid course offered by the Red Cross is discounted 10 percent for March registrants.
