The Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and soprano Joanna Mongiardo present a romantic waltz Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 N. Main St. Ballroom dancers from the Gallery Ballroom will demonstrate the waltz before the concert and join guests afterward to show them how to waltz. The musical program was designed with the Old World romance of New Year's in mind. The work of composers Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Gioacchino Antonio Rossini will be featured.
