The Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and soprano Joanna Mongiardo present a romantic waltz Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 N. Main St. Ballroom dancers from the Gallery Ballroom will demonstrate the waltz before the concert and join guest afterward to show them how to waltz. The musical program was designed with the Old World romance of New Year's in mind. Music by composers Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Gioacchino Antonio Rossini will be featured.
