The Association of Legal Administrators meets today at noon at The University Club of Memphis, 1346 Central Ave. Discussion topic is "Employment Law Update." For more information, call LeaRaya Cole at 523-1222.

The Children's Museum of Memphis holds a kids-only garage sale Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the museum, 2525 Central Ave. The special sale will enable children to make money as they sell their outgrown clothes, old toys and books. The garage sale will be open to the general public. The cost of booth space is $10 and includes museum admission for one. Advance reservations are required. For more information, call 458-2678.

St. Benedict at Auburndale High School Music Department hosts an opening night performance for the third season of its Crossroads Artists Concert Series Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at 8250 Varnavas Drive in Cordova. Pop vocal group Sound Fuzion from the University of Memphis will be performing many different styles of music from the 1940s to present. The concert series runs through April 15. The Memphis chapter of the National Black MBA Association meets Oct. 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the University of Memphis FedEx Institute of Technology, 365 Innovation Drive. The first half hour of the event provides an opportunity for networking. The remaining time will include a panel discussion on the Harvard Business Review article "Managers and Leaders - Are They Different?" Admission is free, but reservations must be made by Oct. 10.
