Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park holds an open house today through Sunday at 910 Riddick Road in Millington, with hands-on activities and programs for the entire family. The park's hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Many of the weekend's events are free, while some have a $1-per-person fee with reservations recommended. The Memphis Potters' Guild holds its annual spring show and sale today through Sunday at the Memphis Botanic Garden, 750 Cherry Road. The opening reception is today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Daily hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show will feature work by local artists in porcelain, stoneware and earthenware.
