The Memphis Area Association of Realtors presents "Professional Standards in the 21st Century" Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon at MAAR, 6393 Poplar Ave. Instructor Gary Blume discusses various options and procedures for the administration of ethics and arbitration programs. The University of Memphis' FedEx Institute of Technology presents "Business Plan Foundations" Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Institute, 365 Innovation Drive. The workshop is being held in conjunction with the continuing Business Plan Competition the Institute is currently sponsoring. The Technology Business Plan Competition 2006 is open to students and researchers who may have a business strategy for a marketable product or service.
