United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of the Mid-South celebrates its inaugural "Life Without Limits" radiothon beginning today and tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Q 107.5 FM. The Karson and Kennedy Morning Show will kick off the radiothon live at Oak Court Mall, 4465 Poplar Ave., and deejays will be taking donations and raising awareness about UCP's programs and services. The Mid-South Association of Contingency Planners holds its monthly meeting Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the offices of First Tennessee Bank, 4385 Poplar Ave., in the Oak Court Building. Discussion topic is "Incident Management and Emergency Operations Command Strategies." Erik Peterson, senior vice president and director of the Global Strategy Institute's Center for Strategic and International Studies, leads the discussion. The Wang Center for International Business Education and Research at the University of Memphis presents "The Seven Futures," an international business program Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the FedEx Institute of Technology, 365 Innovation Drive. The Seven Futures presentation will identify and analyze the driving forces of change shaping seven distinct geographical regions to the year 2025 and beyond.
