AdFed Names Pyramid Award Winners
The Memphis Advertising Federation named Robert Vornbrock and Glenna Rogers-Ward ad man
and ad woman of the year at its 2005 Pyramid Awards ceremony. Vornbrock, president of diversified communications for
Thompson & Co., also was named advertising industry CEO/president of the year.
Ward is senior account executive at WRVR-FM.
The following people won Pyramid Awards from the Memphis
Advertising Federation in individual categories: Elizabeth Brown, advertising
account executive of the year; Cindy deBardelaben,
marketing director of the year; Kimberly Alexander, public relations
specialist of the year; Courtney Liebenrood, public
relations director of the year; Brad Carmony, industry
newcomer of the year; Kathy Cecil, production manager of the year; Geri
Holmes, traffic manager of the year; John Lambert, interactive programmer
of the year; and Arlene Goldner, media buyer/planner
of the year.
Jennifer Secrest joined
Crye-Leike, Realtors, as an affiliate broker. Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Secrest worked in property management for four years. She most
recently worked with Makowsky, Ringel & Greenberg LLC.
Dr. Edward F. Rosloniec,
associate professor of medicine and pathology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, was named the first
recipient of the UTHSC College of Graduate Health Sciences annual research advisor
award. Rosloniec, a member of the connective tissue research
group, joined the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and UTHSC in 1991. He earned bachelors and masters degrees from Michigan State
University and a doctorate from Wayne State University.
NovaCopy announced the promotion of Brad McDaniel to
manager of business development. McDaniel has been a sales consultant with NovaCopy for three years.

the nations top firms in the product liability, corporate/mergers & acquisitions,
employment and real estate practice areas. The Chambers rankings are based on

Dr. Brenda
Schulman, who works in structural biology and genetics and tumor cell
biology at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, received a Presidential Early
Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from President Bush at a ceremony in
Washington, D.C.
