Financed for $27.5 Million
Michael A. Lightman Sr. has financed 38.78 acres near
Winchester and Riverdale roads for $27.5 million, according to The Daily News
Public Records Database, www.memphisdailynews.com.
Primacy Relocation
Launches Canada Subsidiary
Memphis-based full-service relocation provider Primacy Relocation has announced
the launch of its Canadian subsidiary following the purchase of Montreal-based
Continuum International Relocation. The subsidiary will operate under the
Primacy Relocation name.
Gables Residential
Sells Memphis Asset
Gables Residential has sold Gables Cordova, a 464-unit apartment community at
555 Wood Arbor Parkway, for $24.2 million. The buyer was not named. The sale is
part of the Florida companys strategy to recycle capital from the sale of
suburban assets into targeted established premium neighborhoods (EPNs), or areas
with high per-square-foot prices for single-family homes.
CRSA Receives Award
for Oklahoma Project
Memphis-based CRSA, which provides development, management
and other services to senior living communities in 19 states, has won the 2005
Best of Seniors Housing Platinum Award from the National Association of Home
Builders Seniors Housing Council. The award was for the Montereau in Warren
Woods community in Tulsa, Okla.
Education Realty Trust
Buys Oxford Apartments
Memphis-based Education Realty Trust Inc. has acquired Campus
Creek Apartments in Oxford, Miss., from Foundation Development for $24 million.
The company also has agreed to purchase Sterling University Riverside
apartments near the University of South Carolina for $13.7 million and
assumption of $11.2 million in existing debt.
