The Shelby Farms Advisory Committee meets at 1:30 p.m. today

The South Main Arts District hosts the monthly Friday Night
Art Trolley Tour from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Attendees can enjoy free trolley
rides between the galleries and stores along South Main Street. Visit

The Memphis City Council meets at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at City

Shelby County Mayor AC Wharton Jr. will host a town hall
meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bartlett City Hall, 6400 Stage Road. The topic of
the meeting is community safety and homeland security. Shelby County
Administrator of Homeland Security James Bolden and State Homeland Security

The Center City Commission Design Review Board meets at 5
p.m. Wednesday in the CCC conference room at 114 N. Main St. The board will
discuss a construction project at 99-105 S. Main St. and a signage project for

The River City Writers Series at the University of Memphis
opens its spring season at 8 p.m. Wednesday with a reading by author Antonya
Nelson in the Fogelman Executive Center, Room 123. A book-signing and
