Maple Grove Partners has financed 36.53 acres near Forrest
Street and Shady Oaks Estate Subdivision for $2.7 million, according to The
Daily News Public Records Database, www.memphisdailynews.com. National Bank of
Commerce is the lender.
Regions Debuts
New, Blended Logo
Regions Financial Corp. has
announced the creation of a new logo that pairs Regions signature green color
and name and Union Planters signature Greek letter delta in a block format
with a green, gold and white color combination. The new logo comes as a
result of the finalization of the companies' merger in early July.
Glimpso Signs Licensing
Deal With Caboodles
Memphis-based Glimpso LLC, a
manufacturer of private-label backpacks and other fabric bags for a variety of
national retailers, has signed a seven-year licensing agreement with Caboodles
to design, produce, distribute and market a new line of bags under the
Caboodles brand name. Glimpso has retained the rights
to manufacture and distribute products worldwide using the Caboodles name,
company officials said.

Names
New
Board Members
Memphis-based Buckeye Technologies Inc. has named two new members to its board
of directors. The new members are John Crowe, Buckeye president and chief
operating officer, and Katherine Buckman Davis, board chairman for Bulab Holdings Inc., parent company of Buckman Laboratories.
MCA to Dedicate
New Residence Hall
Metz Hall, a new student residence for Memphis College of
Art designed by Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects and constructed by CM+, will be
dedicated Friday at 6:30 p.m. The four-story structure features a glass-walled
art studio.
