financed 4.98 acres of property in Collierville Industrial Park for $2.2
million, according to The Daily News Public Records Database,
www.memphisdailynews.com. Madison Capital Funding LLC is the lender.
Valocity Expands
Appraisal Network
Memphis-based appraisal firm Valocity
has completed the initial phase of a national expansion campaign, with coverage
now in all 50 states and in every Metropolitan Statistical Area. Valocitys network includes more than 2,300 independent
contract appraisers. Through its expansion, the company covers areas in which more
than 90 percent of loans are originated.
City to Demolish
Tim McCarver Stadium
Memphis is accepting bids through July 30 for the demolition
of Tim McCarver Stadium, according to the city purchasing office. Plans and
specifications are available from Ellers, Oakley, Chester & Rike.
Tipton Road to Get
$1.2 Million Revamp
The Tennessee Department of Transportation has announced
construction plans for State Route 206 (Munford Avenue) in Tipton County. The
$1.2 million improvement project, which includes new turn lanes and traffic
signals, is set to begin this month. Ford Construction Co. is the contractor.
The project is slated for completion in June 2005.

Triples
on Strong Sales
Memphis-based Mueller Industries Inc.s second quarter earnings tripled on
strong demand and sales, the company reported. Mueller, which produces copper,
brass and plastic products used in construction, posted net income of $27
million, or 73 cents per share, up from $9 million, or 24 cents per share, a
year earlier.
