Mpact Memphis and the Leadership Academy host a community
impact luncheon that begins at noon today at the Plaza Club, 175 Toyota Plaza,
Suite 200. Kristi Jernigan, founder of the UrbanArt Commission and co-founder
of the Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation, is the guest speaker. Cost is $20.
A disaster response exercise starts at noon today at
Libertyland, 940 Early Maxwell Blvd. The Memphis and Shelby County Emergency
Management Agency and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency will participate.

Clear Channel Radio Memphis received five nominations for
Radio and Records 2004 Industry Achievement Awards. Two stations and three
staff members were nominated: WHAL Hallelujah 95.7, WHRK K97, Nate Bell of
WHRK, Devin Steel of WHRK and Tim Davies of Clear Channel Radio.
