Mike Harris, senior vice president for Highwoods Properties,
said International Place II was included in a loan package with other Highwoods
Properties.
It was part of a much larger loan that Highwoods completed
out of our corporate office in Raleigh, North Carolina, Harris said. The deed
of trust loan here, which was International Place II, was just part of the
collateral package for that loan.
It also included properties in other markets, including
Nashville and I believe Charlotte and maybe Florida.
Harris said Highwoods had no plans to change things at
International Place, a 208,104-square-foot, 10-story office building in the
East-Poplar corridor.
It was not a single loan or a refinancing, because there
was no debt on the property until now, he said.
