fashion show and silent auction at 6 p.m. today at the Cadre Building, 149
Monroe Ave. Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are

sponsor the second annual Walk the Doggie Mile from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday

YMCA Fee Assistance Program. Cost is $10, and all leashed dogs walk free.
Information Radio Network hosts a conference titled
Direction in an Age of Confusion from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Memphis
Marriott, 2625 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Speakers are Dr. Larry Bates, economist and
author, Chuck Bates, news director for Information Radio Network, Rev. Jesse
Lee Peterson, founder and president of the Brotherhood Organization of a New
Destiny, and Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America. Cost is

Volunteers from Hands On Memphis and other
organizations will clean up Zion Christian Cemetery, located on South Parkway
at Pillow Street, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Zion is the citys oldest
