Memphis Area Association of Realtors hosts its Realtor Luncheon at 11:45 a

The Memphis Area Association of Realtors hosts its Realtor Luncheon at 11:45 a.m. today at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Kaywin Feldman, director of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, will talk about museum exhibit In the Spirit of Martin: The Living Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. No-shows and walk-ups will be charged $15.

 

The third annual Soul-A-Thon to benefit the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and Stax Music Academy runs from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Stax Music Academy, 910 E. McLemore Ave. The event will be broadcast on WRBO 103.5 FM. Call 507-1453.

 

The Memphis Bar Association hosts a continuing legal education course titled Interpreting Business Tax Returns from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the office of Stokes Bartholomew Evans & Petree, 1000 Ridgeway Loop Road, No. 200. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis hosts the second annual Toolbox Bash Dinner and Silent Auction from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lichterman Nature Center, 5992 Quince Road. Cost is $60 in advance or $65 at the door. Call 761-4771.

 

The National Ornamental Metal Museum hosts its Repair Days Weekend and Auction from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Bring dull or dented metal items for repair by metalsmiths. An auction of handcrafted metal items begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Repair estimates and auction admission are free. Call 774-6380.
