The National Arbor Day Foundation is giving 10 free white flowering dogwood trees to each person who joins the organization during August as part of the Trees for America campaign.

The trees will be shipped postage-paid with planting instructions during planting season, between Oct. 15 and Dec. 10. They are guaranteed to grow or will be replaced free.

Baptist Pediatric Care hosts the At Home in Memphis Kids Expo from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Wolfchase Galleria, located on Germantown Parkway at Interstate 240.

 

Germantown Baptist Churchs Building Lives Outside of Church and Candace Cole Productions of Marina Del Ray, Calif., host a weekend benefit for Families of Incarcerated Individuals Inc.

At 7 p.m. today, Germantown Baptist hosts music and recreation for children and youth affected by the incarceration of a parent or family member. The event, at the church at 9450 Poplar Ave., is free and open to the public.

Candace Cole Productions presents No More Drama, Please! at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 N. Main St. Tickets to the fund-raiser are $28 through Ticketmaster or the center.

 

WEVL-FM 90 presents Robert Wolfman Belfour, Daddy Mack Blues Band and Blind Mississippi Morris & The Pocket Rockets as part of the Blues on the Bluff series at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the National Ornamental Metal Museum, 374 Metal Museum Drive.

Shelby Residential and Vocational Services Inc. hosts the fifth annual Spirit of SRVS: A Wine Tasting and Silent Auction from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Park Vista Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd.

Attendees can taste wines from the United States and around the world. Food from area restaurants and live entertainment also will be provided.

The 20th annual Ostrander Awards will be presented to members of the Memphis theater community from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Memphis Botanic Gardens Hardin Hall.
