Bluestone Glen planned
for Holmes Road area
CMCS LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company,
financed $1.3 million through National Bank of Commerce, securing the loan with
20.2 acres near Cherokee Rose Lane and Holmes Road, according to a trust deed
filed in the Shelby County Registers Office July 29.
Charlie McCrory, chief manager for CMCS, said the land is
being developed into a single-family residential subdivision to be called
Bluestone Glen.
Its kind of a small subdivision; it has 48 lots, McCrory
said.
The lots have an average size of 10,000 square feet, in
keeping with whats down there right now, he said.
Congregation makes new home
on Shelby Drive
Nathan Seal Lavell Lee, Felix Smith, Bob
Bullock, Roy Caldwell, Frank Panzrino, James E. Wilson, Tony Graham and Johnny
Watts, trustees of the Revolving Loan Fund of the Baptist Missionary
Association of Mississippi, purchased 11.1 acres at 7288 E. Shelby Drive from
Covenant Presbyterian Church Inc. for $1.2 million, according to a warranty
deed filed in the Shelby County Registers Office Aug. 4.
Rayburn Freeman, the associations director of missions,
said the group purchased Covenants property for Cornerstone Institutional
Baptist Church, currently meeting on Hacks Cross Road.
Cornerstone pastor Brodie Johnson said the new site is
bigger than the churchs current location.
Its a much larger property, Johnson said. We needed
additional room to help support our ministries.
Rivergate Terminal Co. LP, a Tennessee limited
partnership, financed $3 million through First Tennessee Bank National
Association, securing the loan with 25.5 acres at Riverport and Rivergate
roads, according to a trust deed filed in the Shelby County Registers Office
July 29.
Lighthouse Fellowship Assembly of God financed $1.2
million through Patriot Bank, securing the loan with 6.1 acres at Shelby and
Epperson Mill roads, according to a trust deed filed in the Shelby County
Registers Office July 30.
Danny and Saralyn Weiss financed $1.2 million through
First Tennessee Bank National Association, securing the loan with one lot in

6390 U.S. Highway 70 in Bartlett from Dimension III Investments LLC, a
Tennessee limited liability company, for $2 million, according to a warranty
deed filed in the Shelby County Registers Office July 30.
Jason Crews Partnership, a Tennessee general
partnership, purchased two parcels of land at 648 Riverside Drive from Alfred
Wayne McMillin for $1 million, according to a warranty deed filed in the Shelby

partnership, purchased land at 7777 Moriarty Road in Cordova from SUSA-TN LLC,
a Delaware limited liability company, for $1.6 million, according to a special
warranty deed filed July 31 in the Shelby County Registers Office. In a
related transaction, SGMP Equity Fund I financed $1.3 million through Greenwich
Capital Financial Products Inc., a Delaware corporation, according to a trust
deed filed in the Shelby County Registers Office the same day.
