St. Louis firm acquires Memphis Hale Headrick

A St. Louis-based law firm announced a financial agreement
earlier this week that will add the Memphis law firm of Hale Headrick Dewey
Wolf Golwen Thornton & Chance PLLC to its fold.
Husch & Eppenberger LLCs acquisition of the Memphis
firms three offices including one in Nashville, Tenn. combined with Husch
& Eppenbergers recently opened office in Chattanooga, establish it as one
of the largest law firms in Tennessee.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 26 lawyers of Hale Headrick will add to Husch &
Eppenbergers existing pool of 285 lawyers. The local firm will change its

With over 300 lawyers on staff, we will have the resources

Central United States, Headrick said.
Husch & Eppenbergers Memphis firm will maintain operations
in Hale Headricks Downtown office at 200 Jefferson and its East Memphis office
at 6060 Poplar Ave.
Six attorneys formed Hale Headrick six years ago. The firm
specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial cases,
construction litigation, product liability defense, bankruptcies and personal
injury cases, among others.
Joseph Conran, Husch & Eppenbergers management
committee chairman, said the company had been looking to expand into the
Memphis area for some time.

Husch & Eppenberger is an 80-year-old company with
