MetLife Auto & Home announced First Tennessee Insurance, Menard Gates & Mathis Inc., the Associated Agency and Harris, Madden & Powell received the companys Presidential Seal of Approval for customer satisfaction and loyalty. MetLife Auto & Home president and chief executive officer Cathy Rein recently recognized all four recipients for exceeding customer service expectations and building customer loyalty.

 

The Memphis Credit and Bankruptcy Collaborative will meet from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at The Community Foundation, 1900 Union Ave. The meeting will provide updates on numerous projects undertaken by the collaborative. Projects include the development of a financial literacy directory of financial education programs available in the community, several research projects with the University of Memphis Center for Economic Education, and an upcoming DEBTS simulation where participants will experience what it is like to go through bankruptcy.

 

Concord EFS Inc. will transfer its stock listing to the New York Stock Exchange. Concords stock will begin trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol CE beginning Thursday. Concord is a vertically integrated electronic transaction processor, providing transaction authorization, data capture, settlement and funds transfer services to financial institutions, supermarkets, restaurants and other independent retailers. Concords primary activities include network services; providing ATM driving, PIN-secured and signature debit card processing, deposit risk management and STAR network access to the financial services industry; and payment services, providing credit, debit, check authorization and electronic benefits transfer processing services to selected retail segments.

 

The Memphis Regional Chamber and the International Trade Center are presenting a seminar that will explain the basics of bringing products into the United States.
