Downtown Neighborhood Association will host its fifth annual Downtown Home Tour featuring a variety of seven new and renovated

Downtown Neighborhood Association will host its fifth annual Downtown Home Tour from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 2, featuring a seven new and renovated homes in locations ranging from the famous Mississippi riverfront to the established Greenlaw historic district, the citys oldest subdivision. Unique residences on display include the homes of John Griffin and Russell Armstrong at 194 Looney Ave.; Andy and Suzanne Hamm at 855 Harbor Isle Circle West; John Palmer and David Ousset at 10 N. Main St.; Bill and Linda Felts at 400 S. Main St.; Jerry and Bobbi Gillis at 567 Magnolia Mound Drive; and Christina Ross, Sophie Walker and Regan Rozypal at 505 and 515 Tennessee St. Advance tickets are $8, or $12 on the day of the event. Santi Lodge, located minutes past Arlington, Tenn., in Hickory Wythe, was recently named one of the top 25 bed and breakfast inns by the Arrington Bed & Breakfast Journal Book of Lists. Owned and operated by Albert Santi of Arlington-based Santi Mortgage Co. LLC, Santi Lodge was chosen through a yearlong survey of bed and breakfast guests who completed a 50-item questionnaire regarding their stays at various inns. Santi Lodge is five-bedroom log cabin with six wood burning fireplaces situated on a 100-acre country estate. Not without amenities, the inn also includes a fax and photocopy machine, as well as televisions and VCRs in each bedroom, and onsite laundry facilities. John Criswell, 2001 Memphis Area Association of Realtors president-elect, has been tapped to manage Crye-Leikes 22nd branch office, which will open in mid-December at 9943 Highway 64 in northeast Shelby County. Under Criswells direction, the office will recruit and manage 51 sales associates responsible for areas including Arlington, Lakeland, north Cordova and Fayette County.

 

Seller Concessions will the topic of the Nov. 30 Information Friday, sponsored by Memphis Area Association of Realtors. The panel discussion, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at MAAR headquarters, 6393 Poplar Ave., will include Steve Brown from Crye-Leike Inc., appraiser Ray Hoover, attorney Ron Poe and Fran Warner from First Tennessee Mortgage.
