Mark Askew, president of Askew Hargraves Harcourt & Associates Inc Mark Askew, president of Askew Hargraves Harcourt & Associates Inc., recently was installed as president-elect of the Consulting Engineers of Tennessee for 2001-2002. He is the only professional from West Tennessee currently serving as an officer of the statewide association, which represents 126 member firms. Bill Ray was appointed assistant vice president of external affairs for BellSouth with responsibilities in East and West Tennessee. In addition to his responsibilities as principal representative and spokesman for BellSouth in Memphis, Ray is responsible for supervising public relations and customer market support in East and West Tennessee. He attended the University of Memphis. Shirley Buford was appointed regional director of external affairs for BellSouth. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis. A total of 33 Crye-Leike sales associates in the Greater Memphis area recently completed a training course on marketing properties valued at $400,000 or more. Crye-Leikes Bartlett-Summer Oaks branch office graduates are Dot Barlow, Larry Cagle, Barbara Garrett and Lorraine Williams; Collierville branch graduates are Connie Givens, Craig Graham, Jeanne Lubiani and Judy Skinta; Cordova branch graduates are Patty Brister, Robert Gorman, Jean Hill, Trey Hogue, Abbey Garner-Moore and Cynthia Murden; Germantown-Exeter branch graduates are Jeannette Carter, Susan Edwards, Linda Erickson and Sherry Roberts; Olive Branch, Miss., graduates are Susan Cobb and Jeanette Hollowell; Quail Hollow branch graduates are Brenda Cowen, Barbara Parkhurst, Nancy Cooper, Saeed Nia, Ken Buchanan, Helen Renfrow, Judy Deen, Sue Taylor, and Connie Epps; and from the West Memphis, Ark., branch are Anita Bell, Pat Lackey, Dianne Person and Sandra Pitts. Betty O. Joyner of Crye-Leikes Quail Hollow branch office and Jeanne Lubiani, manager of the Collierville branch office, were awarded the certified premier properties specialist designation, which signifies excellence in marketing higher priced and estate properties in the Greater Memphis and Mississippi areas.
