Germantown Road. An introduction to commercial investment real estate analysis class is July 24 through July 26 at the Memphis Area Association of Realtors education center, 6393 Poplar Ave. The cost is $200 for this three-day seminar, which includes study materials and a HP10B calculator. This course will earn 16 hours continuing education credit. For more information, call Linda Stubbs, 818-2421. The Tennessee Real Estate Commission is reminding all licensees that requirements for renewal must be completed on or before Nov. 1, 2002. Renewal fees must be paid, insurance must be in place and all education requirements must be met by that date. Call Linda Stubbs, 818-2421, for a list of upcoming courses. The Tennessee General Assembly is working to solve its budget shortfall for 2002. As a result, both the Senate Finance Committee and full House have placed their respective transfer tax bills (Senate Bill 1245 and House Bill 295) on their final calendars. Auditions and screenings for the Womens Council of Realtors/Memphis Area Home Builders Association variety show will be held July 10 through July 12. The show is slated for Aug. 25. Crye-Leike has sold its first Crye-Leike resort franchise in the unincorporated community of Pickwick Dam, a resort town in Counce, Tenn. Crye*Leike Pickwick Lake is co-owned by Marti Carsten, managing broker, and Addie Francis. The office, at 25 Old South Road, Suite 110, opened June 14. Sales associates Jane August and Judi Bodgan, both of Pickwick, joined Crye*Leike Pickwick Lake and will serve Hardin and McNairy counties in Tennessee and Tishomingo County in Mississippi. Pickwick is a favorite retreat for many Mid-Southerners. It is located 100 miles from Memphis. Pickwick Lake converges at Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama state lines.
