Blake Pera, with CB Richard Ellis Memphis, has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment on a level of qualifying experience. Peras primary focus as vice president of the multifamily division of CB Richard Ellis Memphis is the brokerage of investment properties in Memphis and Jackson, Miss.
Annita Sawyer was appointed manager by Shelby County Probate Clerk Chris Thomas to replace Curt Wilson, who is retiring. Sawyer has worked in the office for 25 years. During that time, she received a countywide employee of the month in 1999 and helped develop a computer system that put all the dockets on computer. She currently handles investments, receipts and the bookkeeping duties. She will take on the new role June 11.

Brian Barr joined as a civil engineer in training. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Memphis. Joseph Manning joined as a plumbing designer. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee. Alison Dunehew joined Pickering Environmental Consultants Inc. as an environmental specialist. She earned a masters degree from Samford University and a bachelors degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. Doug Dugard joined Pickering Environmental Consultants Inc. as a senior project manager. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Memphis.
