Calendar of events: June 5 11 Calendar of events: May 21-May 27 May 21 Consumer Credit Counseling Service hosts a free money management workshop from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the CCCS office, 2158 Union Ave., fourth floor. Participants will learn about establishing or re-establishing credit, credit reports and using credit wisely. May 22 The Memphis Bar Association hosts a seminar on the new Article 9 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the MBA Conference Center, One Commerce Square, Suite 1050. Speakers are LeeAnne Cox of Burch, Porter & Johnson PLLC, U.S. Trustee Ellen Vergos and University of Memphis professor Paulette Delk. The National Wellness Foundation will host a free community workshop on fibromyalgia at 7 p.m. at the Germantown Library, 1925 Exeter Road. The Memphis Area Association of Realtors luncheon is 11:45 a.m. at the Memphis Area Home Builders Association, 776 N. Germantown Pkwy. Larry Jensen, chairman of the Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce and MAAR member, will present an overview of the economic growth of Memphis. The luncheon is free to all members. May 24 The Service Corps of Retired Executives will offer a seminar from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Racquet Club, 5111 Sanderlin Ave., designed to help attendees operate a successful and profitable business. Speakers include Dr. Ben Doddridge of The Horizon Group, attorney Buddy Bernstein, certified public accountant Mickey Ison, Susan Smith of BankTennessee and certified insurance counselor Tommy Thomas.
