Calendar of events: June 5 11 Calendar of events: Aug.14-Aug. 21 Aug. 14 The International Association for Administrative Professionals regular monthly meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-Memphis East, with Gary Brackett as speaker. Aug. 15 The Cotton Belles Chapter of the American Business Womens Association monthly meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Memphis, 5111 Sandelin Ave. Paula Sedgwick, a CASA case worker, will discuss the role of the court appointed child advocate. The Brooks Museum presents "Fitness and Finance: A Womens Perspective," sponsored by Merrill Lynch. Pounders and Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Janice M. Holder as speakers. The seminar is set for the Plaza Club and approved for 1.5 hours of general continuing legal education credit. Dinner and a ticket to the Memphis Redbirds are included with the registration price. The Building Owners and Managers Association lunch meeting begins at noon at the Adams Mark Hotel in the South East Ballroom. The daylong conference is $199 per person or $189 each for groups of four or more. Topics for the conference include launching a Web site, mastering cutting-edge technology and designing a Web site.
