ARCHER/MALMO HIRES BRIAN DIXON AS ART DIRECTOR
Brian Dixon joined Archer/Malmo as art director. Dixon comes to the agency from Earle Industries Inc., where he has served as art director since 1992. Prior to joining Earle, Dixon interned as a summer tour guide at the Graceland Mansion. He holds a bachelors degree in history with a minor in American studies from Rhodes College.
Stuart Mitchell joined Baptist Memorial Hospital-East as chief executive officer and administrator. Mitchell joined Baptist in 1993, most recently serving as vice president. He holds a masters degree in business administration from Columbus College in Columbus, Ga., and a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Mark A. Traylor joined Trammell Crow Co. Memphis as vice president of retail development and leasing. Before joining TCC, Traylor served as marketing representative for Weston Cos. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis.
Wade Lewis and Andy Jenkins joined Raven Construction Co., Trammell Crow Co.s general contracting unit, as project manager and project superintendent, respectively. Lewis has more than 22 years of construction experience in a variety of specialized trades, and has managed more than 120 projects in 12 states. Jenkins has more than 26 years of experience in the construction industry, and has been involved in the renovation of Memphis landmarks such as the Peabody Hotel, the Orpheum and the Pyramid.
Chris Eaves and Trent Hart joined the master planning and landscape architecture department of Askew Hargraves & Harcourt. Eaves is a graduate of Mississippi State University, when he received a bachelors degree in landscape architecture. Hart is a graduate from Brigham Young University and the University of Colorado, where he earned his masters degree in landscape architecture and bachelors degree in environmental science, respectively.
Shuler Griffin of Strategic Financial Partners was named "Managing Associate of the Year" by New England Financial, a Boston-based financial services company. Griffin, chosen from more than 200 sales managers, was recognized at the annual Agency Builders Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Mike Bilderbeck was named "Outstanding Engineer for the Year 2000" by the Memphis Joint Engineers Council. Bilderbeck has 19 years experience in the engineering field, all with Pickering Inc.
Hardy Mays returned to the Memphis office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman & Caldwell after serving as legal counsel, deputy and chief of staff to Governor Don Sundquist. Mays is a shareholder in the Memphis office and served as managing partner of the firm from 1985 to 1988.
Stephanie Ortbals Tibbs was promoted to account supervisor for Archer/Malmo Public Relations. She formerly was account executive.
Karin Cook was hired as media buyer for Media Partners, the media management division of Archer/Malmo. She comes to the agency from Long Haymes Carr of Winston-Salem, N.C., where she was media planner.
