SCB Computer Technology launches NetCardia
SCB Computer Technology Inc. announced the launch of NetCardia, a suite of remote enterprise management services designed to control the escalating costs of information technology infrastructure management for mid-size organizations.
This fee-based service entails no up-front hardware or software costs and minimal implementation fees, company officials said.
NetCardia is an integrated service offering that offers a one-stop enterprise management solution with services that include network/systems management, help desk/service desk, e-commerce infrastructure management, asset management, application management, performance management and Web-based reporting.
"With the implementation of this offering, an organization can achieve consistent, measurable levels of service that are aligned with its business objectives and obtain enhanced end-user productivity due to increased performance and decreased downtime," said Tim Hudson, senior vice president, e-services division of SCB.
"Moreover, among other results, there can be a 30 to 40 percent reduction in an organization's total cost of enterprise management."
The cornerstone of the NetCardia offering is Computer Associates enterprise management software, Unicenter TNG, which has been implemented at SCBs Enterprise Management Center in Phoenix.
CA named SCB as a Unicenter TNG premier business partner for this initiative in May. SCB has access to CAs offerings, services and advantaged pricing for its clients.
