Promus Names New Development Ronald C. Muzii Jr. has been named vice president of development for Promus Vacation Resorts. Muzii was formerly president of Innovative Hospitality Group Inc. in Miami. He is a graduate of Cornell University. B. Ted Hammett has been named vice president of operations for Lamination Service Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. Carolyn J. Cummins has joined SSM Ventures as an associate. She formerly was a senior analyst with Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc. Douglas A. Black has joined Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs. He most recently served as counsel to Crone & Mason PLC. He has a bachelors degree from the University of Memphis and a law degree from the University of Tennessee. Scott A. Frick has joined Evans & Petree as a partner. Frick received a bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of Mississippi. David F. Leake, principal in the Leake Law Firm, has joined Humphreys, Dunlap, Wellford, Acuff & Stanton P.C. in an of counsel position. Diane Marsh has been promoted to marketing coordinator for Pickering Inc. She formerly was marketing assistant. Marsh is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Kerry Sewell has been promoted from store manager to director of retail for the Memphis Redbirds. Dana Loughridge has been promoted to store manager for the Memphis Redbirds. Steve Wherry has been named president of Cardinal Machinery Inc. He was previously vice president of the Blackstone Co. Ross B. Clark II, a partner in Armstrong, Allen, Prewitt, Gentry, Johnston & Holmes, has been appointed to the Uniform Legislation Commission by Gov. Don Sundquist. Henri E. Brooks was elected chairperson of the Tennessee Black Caucus of the State Legislators. The Ronald McDonald House board of directors has elected the following new members: Kimberly S. Brisco, principal of Brisco Communications; Richard C. Hackett, senior vice president of major gifts for ALSAC/St. Jude; the Rev. Gary Jackson, president of Harvesting Ministries and pastor of Bethsaida Baptist Church; John Kimbrough, vice president of investments for Salomon Smith Barney; Dawn D. Looney, communications manager for Shelby County Mayor Jim Rout; Holly Marcus, account executive with Walker & Associates; and Kathy Werner, community volunteer. Officers include president Lisa D.
