Promus Hotel Corporation Names J
J. Kendall Huber has been named executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Promus Hotel Corp. He most recently was with Legg Mason Inc. Huber received a law degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelors degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
W. Patton Steele Jr. has been named president of Boyle Insurance Agency and vice president of Boyle Investment Co. He joined Boyle in 1967 and became vice president in 1974. Steele is a graduate of the University of Arkansas.
Caroline Snider has been promoted from sales assistant to tour and travel coordinator at the Peabodys sales and marketing department.
Mike McAlister has been promoted from fastrack manager to southeast regional manager in the Peabodys sales and marketing department.
Rae B. Stewart has joined Trammell Crow Co. as property manager. She previously was assistant vice president at Tesco Properties. Stewart is a graduate of the University of Memphis.
Joana Gatlin has been promoted to account manager at Chandler, Ehrlich & Co. She has been an account executive with the firm since 1994.
Amber Northcross has been appointed special assistant for urban affairs by Gov. Don Sundquist. She is regional vice president and consultant for Arbonne International and served as vice president of government affairs and health systems development for the Regional Medical Center.
Richard K. Thomas, vice president of Medical Services Research Group, has been named editor of Marketing Health Services, a publication of the American Marketing Association.
James L. Pettis III has become a member of the firm of Armstrong, Allen, Prewitt, Gentry, Johnston & Holmes PLLC.
Carol Lott has joined Prudential Pride Properties. She has worked in real estate sales for more than 13 years.

Eugene Woods, vice president of Wilkinson & Snowden Inc., was named 1998 Realtor of the Year by the Memphis Area Association of Realtors.
Kathy McMath, an agent with Crye-Leike Inc., was named MAARs Realtor-Associate of the Year. Virginia Green of Norwest Mortgage was named MAARs Affiliate of the Year.
