ResortQuest International Appoints
Paul Manteris has been appointed vice president of operations for ResortQuest International Inc. He most recently held senior management and training positions with Colorado-based Premier Resorts Inc./Village Resorts.
Trammell Crow Co. has announced several promotions and additions.
Leigh Matheson has been promoted to vice president and regional controller for the companys Tennessee division. She has been controller for Trammell Crow Tennessee since 1997. Matheson is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
Jeff Sanders has joined the companys Tennessee division as senior accountant. He formerly worked for Arthur Anderson. He has masters and bachelors degrees from the University of Memphis.
Shejuan Gaston has been named senior accountant for the Southeast Financial Services Division. She previously was staff accountant/senior auditor for Jones and Tuggle. Gaston is a graduate of Rust College.
Stacye Anderson and Cindy Clayton have been promoted to property controllers. Anderson joined the company in 1993 and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin. Clayton joined the company in 1994 and has bachelors and masters degrees from Mississippi State University.
Lezlie Rounsaville has been promoted to assistant controller. She joined the company in 1993 and is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
Jack Carter and Gary A. Maness have joined Crye-Leike Commercial. Carter formerly worked with Red Oak Investment Co. Maness formerly worked with Adagio Trading Co. LLC and Le Bonheur Health Systems.
Oliver Steigerwald was named controller at Process Systems Inc. Steigerwald has been with Lurgi, PSIs parent company, for more than three years. He is a graduate of Dortmund University in Germany.
The Memphis RiverKings hockey team announced the following promotions and additions:
Dawn Kaplan has been promoted to assistant general manager and director of marketing.
Tina Rimbey has been promoted to director of media and public relations.
Don Goodlin has been promoted to business manager and director of novelties.
Tommy McGee has been promoted to equipment manager.
Joe Fellini has joined the RiverKings as director of operations and promotions. He most recently was general manager of the South Carolina Fire Ants.
Ned Bowdern has joined the organization as director of broadcast sales and marketing. He formerly was director of broadcasting and sales representative for the Springfield Jr. Blues Hockey Club in Illinois.
Donald E. Smart, senior vice president and manager of Llama Co.s Memphis office, has been selected to lead its new sports and entertainment finance group.
Jennifer Whalen has joined the staff of Taylor Gardner Architects Inc. as an interior designer. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
John L. DeVinney has joined Pickering Inc. as a senior project engineer. He most recently was director of project management for Process Systems Inc. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Bill Ray has been appointed regional director for BellSouth. Ray formerly was assistant vice president of sales for BellSouth Business Systems in Louisville, Ky.
Dr. H. ONeal Smitherman has been appointed executive assistant to University of Memphis president V. Lane Rawlins. Smitherman most recently was assistant vice chancellor and director of institutional research for the University of Alabama system, where he earned bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees.
Sally K. Aldrich has been named director of Methodist HealthcareAlliance Hospice. She was formerly assistant director of Alliance Hospice. Aldrich has a masters degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis and a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan.
Ric Nuber, president and chief executive officer of the YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South, has been elected president of the Leadership Memphis Alumni Association.
Dr. David Patterson has been appointed to fill the Bornblum Chair of Excellence in Judaic Studies at the University of Memphis. He formerly was director of the U of Ms honors program.
Mark W. Askew, principal-in-charge of Askew Hargraves Harcourt & Associates LLC Consulting Engineers, has been elected secretary of the Consulting Engineers of Tennessee.
James T. Bland Jr. was certified as an estate planning specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law.
Olivia Dobbins, president of the Black Business Association, was appointed to the Governors Minority Business Development Advisory Committee.
George Stephenson of Prudential Insurance Co. of Americas Mid-South office, has been named a qualifying and life member of the insurance industrys Million Dollar Round Table.
Katheryn Lee Wright, associate professor of French at Rhodes College, and Michael McDonnell, a Rhodes trustee and president of West Union Corp., received Rhodes Charles E. Diehl Society Service Award and Distinguished Service Medal, respectively.
Ron Spielberger, associate professor of journalism at the University of Memphis, will be inducted into the College Media Advisers Hall of Fame.
