TaylorGardnerArchitects Inc. has developed a master plan for a new state park inn and conference center at Pickwick Landing State Park in Counce. The $12.5 million facility will be located on a new site on Pickwick Lake and is currently in the design development stage. The facility will include 125 guest rooms, a 500-seat banquet room, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a board room, a 250-seat restaurant, kitchen and other support facilities. Bids for the new inn and conference facility will be taken in the summer and construction is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 1999.
Davidson Hotel Co. and Prudential Real Estate Investors have formed their 10th joint venture and acquired the San Antonio Airport Hilton. Davidson Hotel Co. will manage the 13-story, 387-room hotel. PREIs investment was made on behalf of its $2.2 billion PRISA fund. Davidson Hotel Co., based in Memphis, currently owns or manages 27 U.S. hotels.
Two local Realtors have been elected to positions connected with the National Association of Realtors. Martin Edwards Jr. has been elected the 1998 liaison to association executives for the NAR. Edwards, a Realtor for 31 years, is president of Edwards Management Inc. Daniel F. Wilkinson has been elected as the 1998 chairman of the associations Realtors real property operations committee, which advises the president of NAR with regard to real property owned by the association. Wilkinson, a Realtor since 1968, is president of Wilkinson & Snowden Inc.

The top associates and their offices for each month, respectively: Mary Hall and Tara Owens, Re/Max Alpha in Covington; Dennis Chew and Bruce Young, Re/Max Commercial and Industrial in Memphis; Nancy Chute of Re/Max Great Properties in Collierville (both months); William Whitman and Alberta Robinson of Re/Max Group in Cordova; Thomas Marchbanks and Joyce Chasteen of Re/Max on Track in Germantown; and Pam Chandler and Debbie Barron of Re/Max Preferred Realtors in Bartlett.
