She previously was clinical coordinator for PharmaThera. Jane Hanafin has been named director of strategic development. She formerly was director of admissions and managed care special projects at Le Bonheur Childrens Medical Center. Jeff Harris has been named customer development coordinator. He formerly was district executive for Boy Scouts of America in Jackson, Miss. Beth Jackson has been named director of finance. She previously was manager of consulting services at ServiceMaster Diversified Health Services L.P. Mary Raymond has been named customer development coordinator. She formerly was a rehabilitation liaison for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. Ken Hall has been named executive director of Hands on Memphis. He formerly was annual funds manager for Youth Villages. Chris Lawler and Sheri Lipman have been elected co-chairs of the board of directors for Hands on Memphis. Lawler is director of strategic business planning for Promus Hotel Corp. Lipman is an attorney with Burch, Porter & Johnson. Kelli Dilling has been promoted to account executive for Chandler, Ehrlich & Co. Dilling joined the agency in 1993 as a media buyer. Peter Marchel has been named director of professional liability risk management and litigation and assistant general counsel for the legal division of Sedgwick Inc. He previously was litigation attorney with Safeco Insurance Co. Marchel received an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and masters and law degrees from Willamette University. Lori Childers has joined Universal Outdoor Advertising as account executive for North Mississippi. Kris Craven has joined Universal Outdoor as an account executive. She formerly was in sales at WPTY-TV. Tonya Wrentmore has been named to the sales support staff at Universal Outdoor. She was formerly with AETNA Insurance. Jay Pollard has been named assistant to the general manager for Universal Outdoors Memphis division. Pollard previously was account executive for TransAd, which was acquired by Universal. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Anna M. Paris has joined Seabrook Wallcoverings Inc. as contract account executive for Memphis and Little Rock. She formerly worked in sales and customer service for an Atlanta wallcovering company. Peter Rosato III has been named manager of Mutual of New Yorks Memphis agency. He previously was sales manager for New York Life. Rosato received a doctorate from the University of Mississippi and received masters and undergraduate degrees from Mississippi State University. L. Allen Exelbierd, past president of the Memphis chapter of the Tennessee Association of Accountants and continuing education seminar chairman for the past six years, was named Outstanding Accountant of the Year at the 45th annual convention of the Tennessee Association of Accountants. John M. Griesbeck, partner at Reynolds, Bone and Griesbeck, was appointed chairman of the banking committee of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. David T. Waring of Bluff City British Cars was awarded the distinction of becoming a Guild member in Jaguars 1996-1997 Service Masters Recognition Program. Dr. Monte Blair has joined Shelby State Community College as director of grants and contracts. He formerly was vice president for research and development at City College in Orlando, Fla. Blair has a doctorate degree from Duke University, a masters degree from the University of Minnesota and a bachelors degree from the University of Florida. Wilma J. Proctor, former principal of Whitehaven Elementary School, has been appointed assistant commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Educations Teaching and Learning Division. She has a masters degree from Memphis State University.
