Dr. Raymond R. Lagesse has been named assistant to the vice president for academic affairs at State Technical Institute. Lagesse previously worked at the State University of New York College at Geneseo where he was associate dean and director of summer sessions, continuing education and intersessions. He has a doctorate in higher education administration from St. Louis University.
Carol Casey has joined the office of student affairs at Rhodes College as director of residence life. She previously spent four years at Tulane University as program coordinator and resident director. Casey has an undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University and a masters degree from Miami University (Ohio).
Olin F. Morris, group senior vice president with The New York Times Broadcasting Group (WREG-TV 3), has been elected to chair Memphis Light, Gas & Water Divisions board of commissioners. Dr. James Netters, pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, will serve as vice chairman of the utilitys five-member governing body.

Barry C. Rogers has joined Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc. as an investment broker. Rogers previously was a financial consultant with John Hancock Financial Services.
Brad T. Conder has joined Victory Bank and Trust Co. as assistant vice president and office manager at its Collierville office. Conder most recently was branch manager for National Bank of Commerce in Cleveland, Tenn. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
Carla Metcalf Smith has been named department manager of executive banking at Enterprise National Bank. A banker for 20 years, Smith has been with Enterprise since 1994. She has a masters degree from the University of Memphis.
Susan Lindy has been named corporate communications manager for Chandler, Ehrlich & Co. She previously was an account executive for Keating Magee Advertising and Public Relations in New Orleans. She is a graduate of Trinity College.
Gay Myers has joined Bean & Ison, PLLC, CPAs & Consultants as an audit senior. She previously was credit manager for Shuler Distributing Co. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis.
Dr. Henry Paul Sullivant Jr. of the Ruch clinic in Memphis has been appointed to the board of directors of PrincipalCare Inc., a Nashville-based physician practice management company.
Sandra H. Zehntner of Rhea & Ivy PLC has been named president of the Memphis chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Other officers include president elect John L. Anne Floyd Landers has been named associate chief nursing officer at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Medical Center. She formerly was chief nursing officer at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Mary Raymond has been named customer development coordinator. She formerly was a rehabilitation liaison for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital.
