Dansherryl Chewe has been appointed account executive for Powertel PCS Memphis region Dansherryl Chewe has been appointed account executive for Powertel PCS Memphis region. She previously spent three years as an account executive with Cellular South. Richard Williams has joined Chandler, Ehrlich & Co. as senior art director. Williams previously was senior art director at Walker & Associates. He is a 1990 graduate of Memphis College of Art. Bonnie Dumas was named vice president and construction lender for SouthTrust Bank. She formerly was a commercial real estate lender with First American National Bank. Andrew "Drew" Arthur was named vice president and commercial lender for SouthTrust Bank. Prior to joining the bank, he was a commercial loan officer with Union Planters Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Robert A. Compton has joined Sofamor Danek Group Inc. in the newly created position of group president-operations. Compton previously spent 12 years in the venture capital industry. Stinson Liles has been promoted to senior account executive at Thompson & Co. Liles, a graduate of Rhodes College, was previously an account executive. Mitzi Gist has joined Thompson & Co. as an account coordinator. She formerly worked for the dialogue marketing division of Thompson & Price. She is a graduate of Christian Brothers University. Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc. has announced several employee promotions to associate vice president: Jenny Cremerius, executive offices; Steve Denegri, Kathy Ervin, Art Hatfield and Brent Rakers, equity research; Wilbur Ellis and Eb LeMaster, investment banking; Holly Trowbridge, human resources; Stacie Schaeffer, Shane Soefker, Teresa Trotter and Melinda Williams, East Memphis office. Sheryl H. Lipman, Todd A. Rose and Jonathan P. Lakey have become associated with the law firm of Burch, Porter & Johnson. Jered Haddad has joined Gateway Group Personnel as a consultant in the temporary staffing division. He is a recent graduate of Christian Brothers University. Libby D. Robinson has been named assistant vice president of marketing for Medshares Management Services Inc. She formerly was an account executive for the company. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University. Walter Rein has been appointed as the law enforcement committee coordinator and press agent for the Western District of Tennessee. Rein is retired from the U.S. Secret Service. He received a bachelors degree from the University of Memphis and a masters degree from George Washington University. Kai Wang, Robert T. Herd, Raymond E. Brower, Donald K. Lemonds, John W. Pate and Lee W. Schaefer have become shareholders in the firm of JMGR Inc. Dr. Brenta Davis, chair of the department of clinical laboratory sciences and associate dean of academic affairs at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, will serve as acting dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences effective July 1. Stacey McClain has joined the staff of Methodist Primary Care Center as a nurse practitioner. She previously was a triage nurse at Health First Medical Group. She has a bachelors and masters degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis.
