Dansherryl Chewe has been appointed account executive for Powertel PCS Memphis region
Dansherryl Chewe has been appointed account executive for Powertel PCS Memphis region. She previously spent three years as an account executive with Cellular South.
Richard Williams has joined Chandler, Ehrlich & Co. as senior art director. Williams previously was senior art director at Walker & Associates. He is a 1990 graduate of Memphis College of Art.
Bonnie Dumas was named vice president and construction lender for SouthTrust Bank. She formerly was a commercial real estate lender with First American National Bank.
Andrew "Drew" Arthur was named vice president and commercial lender for SouthTrust Bank. Prior to joining the bank, he was a commercial loan officer with Union Planters Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
Robert A. Compton has joined Sofamor Danek Group Inc. in the newly created position of group president-operations. Compton previously spent 12 years in the venture capital industry.
Stinson Liles has been promoted to senior account executive at Thompson & Co. Liles, a graduate of Rhodes College, was previously an account executive.

Dr. Brenta Davis, chair of the department of clinical laboratory sciences and associate dean of academic affairs at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, will serve as acting dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences effective July 1.
