Kenneth Rhodes Masterson, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Federal Express Corp., was elected to the board of directors of the American Arbitration Association at its annual meeting in April.
The Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau announces that Lisa Baras has been added to the MCVB team as one of three national sales managers. Baras will be responsible for handling accounts in the Southeastern United States. She is former director of sales and marketing with Holiday Inn Memphis International Airport. She attended Richland Junior College in Dallas and the University of Memphis.
Sheila Smith, formerly a convention development staff assistant at the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, has been promoted to national sales manager in the bureaus convention development department.
