Dot Taylor recently was selected as a Tennessee Senior Games ambassador. The Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce has announced several promotions: John Bradley has been named vice president of economic development. Bradley joined the Chamber in 1996 after serving 16 years in the economic development department at Memphis Light, Gas and Water. John Threadgill has been named vice president of international development. Before joining the Chamber in 1990, he served as a business development consultant in the international marketing division of the state Department of Economic and Community Development. Allen Hester has been named vice president of communications. Hester joined the Chamber in 1992. Michael J. Brugge has joined De Leuw, Cather & Co. as senior transportation engineer. DeCeault has been named executive director of Methodist Primary Care Associates. He most recently was administrator and chief financial officer for Michael Reese Medicine Associates in Chicago. Dr. Tennye R. Jackson has joined the staff of the Methodist Senior Health Center in Westwood. She previously was a staff physician with Health First Medical Group. Jackson received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. Robert Fogelman, president of Fogelman Investment Co.; Sharon Goldsworthy, mayor of Germantown; A C Wharton Jr., chairman of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission; and Dr. Jane Walters, commissioner of the Department of Education have been appointed by Gov. Don Sundquist to the state Council for Excellence in Higher Education. Mary Lou Guinle has been named administrator of the Methodist Alliance Extended Care Hospital. Guinle previously was manager of the intensive care unit at Methodist Hospital Central. Patricia Haley has joined Methodist Health Systems as director of business development for behavioral health services. Previously, Haley was director of CONCERN:EAP, a subsidiary of Baptist Memorial Health Care System. Julie Strange Minnick has been named hospice nurse manager for Methodist Alliance Hospice. She formerly served as charge nurse in the spinal cord injury unit of the Veterans Administration Hospital.
