Joey Stoner has been named treasurer and chief financial officer for Executive Chef Catering LLC. He formerly was employed by the Shoneys division of TPI Restaurants. Dr. Jerry Gentry has joined the staff of the Methodist Family Medical Center in Tunica and Robinsonville. Gentry served as a general medical officer for the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Mississippi and his medical degree from Howard University. Jay Worth Allen has been named senior copywriter at Sossaman Bateman & Associates Advertising. He formerly was senior creative director at Harding Associates. Allen is a graduate of Memphis Academy of Art, University of Memphis and Southwestern University. Les Edwards has been named chief administrative officer at the Memphis Zoo. A certified public accountant, Edwards has worked the past five years as a self-employed operations and financial consultant. Chris Dacus has joined Regency Travel as an account manager for its business travel division. Dacus returns to Regency after two years with a travel agency in Nashville. Brian Glasser has been named the general manager of the J. Alexanders restaurant scheduled to open at the Wolfchase Galleria on Dec. 16. Glasser has been employed by the company for more than two years and formerly served as the general manager for the companys Dayton, Ohio, restaurant. Youth Villages has recently announced several appointments: Margaret Ryan has been promoted to the newly created position of director of operations. Ryan previously was Youth Villages director of development and was employed by Metropolitan Interfaith Association for 15 years as associate executive director. C. Marler Stone has been named director of development. Stone previously was executive director of the MED Foundation at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis and director of development at Le Bonheur Childrens Medical Center. Suzanne Turner has become an investment representative for Boatmens Investment Services Inc. at Boatmens location at 6060 Poplar Ave. Frank Krouse and Bill Cole of General Business Services have been appointed AgriPlan/BizPlan providers in the Memphis and Germantown areas, respectively.
