The Sneed Cos. has announced the promotion of two employees: The Sneed Cos. has announced the promotion of two employees: W. Scott Sneed, vice president, is manager of investments specializing in variable universal life insurance, as well as individual and group health insurance programs. Jenna Sneed OKeeffe, vice president, is production coordinator and a licensed financial adviser. Debbie Haughton has been named operations manager for the Childrens Museum of Memphis. She previously was assistant director of the University Honors Program at the University of Memphis. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis. Philip G. Satre has been elected to succeed Michael D. Rose as chairman of the board of Harrahs Entertainment Inc. effective Jan. 1. He will maintain his position of president and chief executive officer. Charles L. Atwood has been appointed to vice president and treasurer at Harrahs Entertainment. He formerly was corporate director of investor relations. Atwood joined the company in 1979 and has a masters of business administration from Tulane University. Morgan Keegan & Co. has announced several employee promotions. New senior vice presidents include Jamie Augustine, fixed income research; Lynn Ballinger, government trading; Joe Barkley, operations; Marshall Clark, Mike Sain and Mark Crowl, fixed income; Gary Guinn, information services; Charlie Maxwell, assistant treasurer; Dan Keel, investment broker, East Memphis; and Elkan Scheidt, Southern Capital Fund. Other new senior vice presidents include Mike Gibbs, David Montague, Ward Mayer and Craig Wiener, investment brokers; Liz McMaster and Mike OBoyle, equity trading; Joe Millsap and Robert Montague, equity research; Chris Perkins, mortgage-backed trading; and Bob Rimer, annuities. Hunter Battle, Ann Duncan and Marilyn Vaughan have joined Enterprise National Bank to form Enterprise executive banking. Battle, the former manager and vice president of executive banking at Leader Federal, will serve as vice president and manager of the department. Duncan and Vaughan also are former Leader Federal executive bankers.
