Boatmens Bank of Tennessee recently announced the election or promotion of the following officers: Boatmens Bank of Tennessee recently announced the election or promotion of the following officers: Terry M. Stell was elected vice president and manager of small business lending. His 30 years of experience include working with consumer lending, collections and branch management. He formerly was associated with Bank One in Cleveland. Marcia Thorp was elected vice president and senior pension administrator with Boatmens Trust Co. She previously was employed with Union Planters as a vice president and trust administrator. She has a bachelors degree in education from the University of Tennessee. Jeffrey L. Billions was elected assistant vice president and branch manager of the Poplar Avenue branch, retail banking division. He formerly was with National Bank of Commerce for four years. Billions has a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Memphis. Antoinette E. Wilson was promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager at Boatmens Cooper Young branch. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University. Louis A. Jackson Jr. was elected assistant vice president and finance officer in consumer lending. Jackson was formerly with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a sales representative. He joins Boatmens with more than 13 years of sales and auto financing experience. Mary J. Spicer was promoted to bank officer at Boatmens Poplar Avenue branch. She joined Boatmens as a retail banker in May 1988. Her 20 years of experience includes tenures with Fidelity National Bank and the Bank of West Memphis. Toni Mitchell has joined Memphis Apartment Guide Monthly as an account executive. She previously worked as director of admissions at the Miami Heart Institute. M. Gregory Bostian has been elected a member of Rhea & Ivy PLC. Prior to joining Rhea & Ivys tax department six years ago, Bostian was employed as an examination agent with the Internal Revenue Service. He has an accounting degree from Arkansas State University. Douglas W. Atkinson has joined Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc.s East Memphis office as an investment broker. Prior to joining the company, Atkinson was an assistant vice president at National Bank of Commerce. He has a bachelors degree and a master of business administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
