The city of Memphis Division of Engineering and Powers Hill Design will host a public meeting about the proposed stormwater master plan for Harrison Creek Basin Thursday, May 10, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Gaisman Community Center, 4221 Macon Road. The basin roughly runs from Interstate 40 at Jackson Avenue south along both sides of Graham Street to Poplar Avenue. The city of Memphis Division of Engineering and Powers Hill Design LLC will host a public meeting Thursday, May 10, at Gaisman Community Center, 4221 Macon Road, to discuss a proposed master plan to potential solutions for flooding and drainage issues within the Harrison Creek Basin.

7. Memphis 3.0 Begins With Talk About Frayser Plan -

The city of Memphis hasn’t had a comprehensive long-term plan since 1981. But it has been just 2 1/2 years since a coalition of neighborhood groups in Frayser put together a “Frayser 2020” plan and took it to City Hall where it didn’t have the political support to get city funding.

8. Memphis 3.0 Plan Effort Kicks Off in Frayser -

Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland kicked off the two-year drive Monday, Nov. 28, to a master city plan for the city’s 2019 bicentennial with a group of 50 people in Frayser.
