A set of 49 proposed route and service changes to the city’s bus system are focused primarily on bus schedules in southwest Memphis and the Memphis International Airport area.
There are also eight new proposed routes and shuttle services.

MATA Sees Increase In Transit Passes -

Memphis Area Transit Authority Transit Centers have reported a 5.7 percent increase in transit pass sales for 2008 compared to 2007.
The two transit centers at 444 N. Main St. and 3921 American Way surpassed the $847,000 total in 2007 and set a new record for pass sales in 2008 with $895,000.
