A 16-bed geriatric psychiatric facility specializing in the care of seniors ages 65 and older is opening in Memphis March 30.

Behavioral Healthcare Center, an affiliate of Tennessee Health Management, is located on the campus of Harbor View Nursing Home, at 1505 N. Second St. It will serve as a short stay facility and stabilization hospital where both medical and psychiatric assessments and treatments are performed.
