Kroger is adding to and shrinking its presence in the Memphis area.

Details: Crosstown Concourse has signed another tenant. Memphis-based nexAir, one of the largest distributors of atmospheric gases and welding supplies in the U.S., will lease 33,000 square feet at the mixed-use tower.

4. Kroger Pulls Building Permit for Crosstown Fuel Center -

Kroger has plans for a fuel center at 1411 Poplar Ave., across from its Crosstown supermarket.

The company has applied for a $500,001 building permit for construction of a fuel center, according to data from The Daily News Online, memphisdailynews.com.

Votes approached the 13,000 mark through the last weekend of the early voting period in advance of the March 8 Election Day for the schools consolidation referendum.
