The two new restaurants being built at the Crescent Center office building in East Memphis will open during the next 30 days.

Seasons 52 will open at 6085 Poplar Ave. on Jan. 30, while The Capital Grille will open at 6065 Poplar Ave. on Feb. 3.

9. 3 Popeyes Properties Sell for $5.1 Million -

Three Memphis-area Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen properties have been purchased by an Arizona real estate investment trust for $5.1 million.

Spirit Master Funding LLC, a REIT affiliated with Scottsdale, Ariz., Spirit Realty Capital, bought the properties Oct. 25 from Shelton Development Co. LLC in separate transactions, paying $1.3 million for the Popeyes at 1105 W. Poplar Ave. in Collierville, $2 million for the one at 6085 Stage Road in Bartlett and $1.9 million for the one at 3660 Austin Peay Highway in Memphis.

12. $1.3 Million Permit Filed for The Capital Grille -

Orlando, Fla.-based Darden Concepts Inc. has filed a $1.3 million permit application with the city-county Office of Construction Code Enforcement to build The Capital Grille on an outparcel of the Crescent Center in East Memphis.

13. CashSaver Trades Hands for $3.2 Million -

The CashSaver in Midtown has traded hands. 

Kansas City, Kan.-based Super Market Developers Inc. bought the 69,017-square-foot building at 1620 Madison Ave. at Avalon Street from 1620 Madison LLC for $3.2 million. Fred Monks III, president/chief manager of 1620 Madison LLC, signed the special warranty deed.

14. Permit Filed for Seasons 52 at Crescent Center -

Preparations have been made for Seasons 52’s first Memphis location at the Crescent Center, according to a recent permit application with the city-county Office of Construction Code Enforcement.
