3. Polling Issues Continue in Early Voting -

Since early voting in advance of the Aug. 2 election day began Friday, July 13, there haven’t been any reports of problems with voter identification.

There have, however, been problems with some voters not getting the right ballot with all of the races those voters are entitled to make choices in on touch-screen machines.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The number of U.S. homes that slipped into some stage of foreclosure in 2007 was 79 percent higher than in the previous year, a real estate tracking company said Tuesday. Many home-
owners started to fall behind on mortgage payments in the last three months, setting the stage for more foreclosures this year.
