2. Grant Supports Optometry College’s Campaign -

Southern College of Optometry has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the Plough Foundation to support a construction project that will provide the college’s 500 students with new classroom facilities and state-of-the-art instructional space at its Midtown campus.

3. Weinreich Switches Gears at College of Optometry -

An attorney by profession, Christine Weinreich recently switched gears, taking on the role of director of corporate and foundation relations for the Southern College of Optometry, an independent, nonprofit academic institution at 1245 Madison Ave.

Southern College of Optometry on July 25 will host a community event to educate the public about the importance of infant eye and health and the InfantSEE Program, a public health program designed to ensure that eye and vision care are an integral part of infant wellness.
