The Yard will recycle Christmas trees free of charge Thursday, Jan. 4, through Jan. 29 at its recycling and composting facility, 1735 Thomas Road. The Center City Commission Executive Search Committee will meet Friday at 7:45 a.m. to vote on a recommendation for a new chief executive officer and president of the Center City Commission. The recommendation will be brought to the CCC board of directors at 9 a.m. Both meetings will be held at 114 N. Main St.
