National Civil Rights Museum will hold its annual King Day Celebration Monday, Jan. 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the museum, 450 Mulberry St. Live performances will be featured throughout the day on the outdoor Founders Park stage. Museum admission is $5; $3 with the donation of a canned or nonperishable item; or free with a donation of a pint of blood to Lifeblood. Visit civilrightsmuseum.org.

4. Cushman & Wakefield Adds Yates to Capital Markets Team -

Alex Yates has joined the Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Advisors Capital Markets team as vice president, assisting and executing investment sales, debt/equity placement and development advisory projects. Yates’ efforts will be heavily concentrated in multifamily and retail, but he will focus on other product types as well.

5. Dishmon Joins UT Medical Group -

Dr. Dwight “Dan” Dishmon has joined the Department of Medicine at UT Medical Group.
Dishmon is an interventional cardiologist and cares for adults with ischemic heart disease and peripheral arterial disease.
He earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He later completed additional fellowship training at Michigan State University’s Borgess Medical Center. 

6. Crone Named Fellow of Memphis Bar Foundation -

Alan Crone, attorney and co-founder of Crone & Mason PLC, has been named a fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation. The appointment was made at the annual joint meeting of the Memphis Bar Association and its charitable arm, the Memphis Bar Foundation, Sept. 11.
