JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi's sales tax holiday takes place at the end of the month, and some merchants are expecting a boost in business.
National Federation of Independent Business State Director Ron Aldridge says increased sales will help small business owners still recovering from the recession. Aldridge says businesses along the coast that have been impacted by the oil spill will also benefit from the sales event.
